Value of the radioimmunological ACTH-determination in plasma for the diagnosis and therapy control of Addison's disease

The findings obtained before suggest that plasma ACTH determination is another valuable parameter supplementing the determination of plasma corticoids in the diagnosis of Addison's disease. In the assessment of the success of the treatment, plasma ACTH measurement is superior to the determination of plasma corticoids. (orig./AK)

Abstract (German)

Die zuvor erhobenen Befunde lassen erkennen, dass die Plasma-ACTH-Bestimmung einen zusaetzlichen wertvollen Parameter neben der Kontrolle der Plasmakortikoide in der Diagnostik des M. Addison darstellt. Bei der Ueberpruefung des Behandlungserfolges ist die Messung des Plasma-ACTH der Plasma-Kortikoid-Bestimmung ueberlegen. (orig.)
