On the technique for nuclear power technological plant comparison

Description

Different products such as reduction gases, heat, synthetic fuels are presupposed to be generated in nuclear power technologic plant except electric power. Comparison and choice of the optimal variant and parameters of flow sheets of these systems are rather difficult, for generated and spent products can be in different combinations in each variant. Coefficient of thermodynamic plant perfection and marginal method of possible investments are used for comparison of different variants and flow sheets of the plants. An expression for evaluating economic efficiency of certain variants is obtained. It is concluded that the use of thermodynamic perfection coefficient is advisable for analysis of processes taking place in certain units of the plant
