Description
Energies and intensities of the gamma-ray transitions following thermal neutron capture in 130Te are determined. The neutron separation energy for 131Te is evaluated to be 5929.4+-0.3 keV. A statistically significant correlation between the reduced transition intensities and the spectroscopic factors from the (d,p) reactions is found. Evidence for the presence of potential capture mechanism is given. (author)
