The 4th World Survey of Major Activities in Controlled Fusion Research is the most comprehensive compilation to date of the organizations, activities and staff involved in this field. The Survey consists of six parts. Part A contains information on each laboratory's organization and scientific staff. The four central Parts, B to E, deal respectively with the following topics: magnetic confinement, reactor-oriented technology, inertial confinement, and theory and computational studies.
