Malignant ovarial tumours
Description
The book is a status report on the problems of ovarial tumours. All contributions are based on observations in a single hospital. The data acquired there during a period of twelve years are compared with the most recent publications. Apart from the problems of therapy, interest is also taken in symptoms, clinical aspects and everyday problems; the diagnostic aspect is viewed as a basis from which the correct therapy can be derived in consideration of the relevant literature. Abstract (German)
Das vorliegende Buch versucht die Problematik der malignen Ovarialtumoren darzustellen, so wie sie sich jetzt darstellt. Alle Beitraege stammen aus einer Klinik. Das Ziel war es, das in ueber zwoelf Jahren zusammengetragene Datenmaterial als Basis vor dem Hintergrund der aktuellen Literatur darzustellen. Das Buch umfasst nicht nur die Behandlung des Ovarialkarzinoms, sondern versucht auch auf Symptomatik, Klinik und alltaegliche Fragen einzugehen. Der Schwerpunkt ist jedoch die Diagnostik als Basis, aus der sich unter Beruecksichtigung der Literatur die Therapiemassnahmen konsequenterweise ergeben. (orig./MG)Additional details
