Description
Sintered uranium oxide and mixed oxide pellets are extensively used as nuclear reactor fuel. The shape of the fuel-pellets influence greatly their in-reactor performance. Fuel pellets of various shapes were prepared in Radiometallurgy Division to study their fabricability and in-reactor performance. This paper presents the experience in fabricating these fuel pellets.
