Description
By electrospraying of acetic solutions of carrier free trivalent actinides with addition of some micrograms of lanthanum, thin sources for 4 π alpha spectrometry can be prepared, with deposition yields greater than 90%. Backings can be carbon or metallized formvar thin foils, or the gold layer of surface barrier detectors. This technique has been successfully used in the study of the production of the 105, 107 and 109 elements

Par electropulverisation de solutions acetiques d'elements actinides trivalents, a l'etat de traceurs, en presence de lanthane entraineur, il est possible de preparer avec des rendements superieurs a 90% des sources minces pour spectrometrie alpha en geometrie 4 π. Les supports peuvent etre, soit des films plastiques aurifies ou de carbone, soit directement des detecteurs alpha a barriere de surface. Cette technique a ete utilisee dans l'etude de la production des elements 105, 107 et 109Files
