Description
Starting from measured soil contaminations there were calculated concentrations of Co-60, Cs-137, Eu-152 and Eu-154 that have to be expected to occur in the ground water. The soil contaminations were shown not to be dangerous with regard to distribution via ground water. To this end a model of water flow and pollutant transport in the unsaturated zone was adjusted to the measured depth profiles of radionuclide concentrations. Using this model the impact of the pollutant to the saturated zone was predicted, and finally the pollutant transport in the saturated zone was estimated. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Mit Hilfe eines Transportmodells konnten ausgehend von gemessenen Bodenkontaminationen Erwartungswerte fuer die Aktivitaetskonzentration von Co-60, Cs-137, Eu-152 und Eu-154 im Grundwasser ermittelt werden, die die Unbedenklichkeit der festgestellten Kontaminationen hinsichtlich einer Strahlenexposition ueber den Wasserpfad zeigen. Dazu wurde ein Modell der Wasserstroemung und des Stofftransportes in der ungestaettigten Zone ueber gemessene Tiefenprofile der Aktivitaetskonzentration einzelner Radionuklide kalibriert und verifiziert. Nach Prognoserechnungen mit diesem Modell wurde der Transport im Grundwasserleiter modelliert. (orig.)Additional details
