IR absorption spectra of vapors oVer Re2o7, ReO3, HReO4
Description
Vapour compositions over solid oxides of Re2O7, ReO3 and solution of rhenic acid have been studied, which are formed in real systems of rhenium recovery from gases, in the presence of water vapour, as a component of metallurgical gases. Infrared spectra of vapour absorption are measured. The band reference is given. It has been found that Re2O7 is the main component of the gas phase over ReO3sub(solid); vaporization of rhenic acid in a rarefied atmosphere is accompanied by its partial decomposition into water and Re2O7, while at pressures of inert gas or air, close to atmospheric, HReO4 is the main component of the gas phase
