Some Physics And Safety Features Of Fixed Bed Nuclear Reactor With Pebble Fuel
Description
The paper generally presents pre-eminent features of a new generation of nuclear reactors in comparison with their existing generations, such as, safety operation, non-release of radioactive materials into environment under any condition, non-proliferation of nuclear weapon, and convenient for developing countries. The paper also presents some calculated results on an operational feature without fuel burn-up poison aimed at lengthening core lifetime of the spherical fuel element reactor. (author)
