Magnetic susceptibility of solid solutions of the In2S3 - FeS system

Description
By the Faraday method the magnetic susceptibility of (Insub(2)Ssub(3))sub(1-x)x(FeS)sub(x) (where x <0.55) at 80-300 K is measured. It has been found that all investigated alloys are paramagnetics and their susceptibility obeys the Curie-Weis law. According to the effective magnetic moment value the two-valent state and location of iron ions in octahedral voids of spinel structure by the In[InFesub(x)]sSub(3)+x scheme are confirmed
