Laboratory plant for spent fuel reprocessing
Description
The experiment on the determination of the radiation risk for the operating personnel was carried out during operation of the laboratory extraction plant when normal operating conditions and radiation situation during routine repairs were simulated. The radio activity in the room for the personnel and the room for routine repairs was created due to 42K. During the experiment the aerosol leakage from the glove box into environment and the degree of the apparatus contamination were investigated. The experimental results showed that hygiene and labour safety on the extraction plant were well provided. In none of the cases both the personnel and workers of other laboratories ran the radiation risk
