Physics and detector design for CESR B-Factory
Description
A proposal has been submitted to the NSF for the modification of CESR into an asymmetric B-Factory of energies 3.5 GeV and 8 GeV and luminosity 3 x 1033 cm-1s-1. This paper summarized the main features of this proposal, the physics goals and the modifications to the CLEO II detector. (author)
