New ultrasonic testing technology for the reactor vessels of the Paks reactors
Description
A new ultrasonic testing equipment has been installed at the Paks Nuclear Power Plant, for the inspection of the integrity of reactor vessels. The system comprising a novel type of motion device and control equipment as well as the advanced monitoring heads are suitable to perform very sensitive testing. (R.P.) 2 refs.; 3 figs
