Description

The neutrino decay solution to the solar neutrino problem calls for large mixing and a short lifetime for the decaying neutrino. We propose a model for neutrino masses which has these features and furthermore leads to decays into antineutrinos. The resulting fluxes of anti νe's are detectable in future solar neutrino detectors. The large νe-νμ mixing can account for the atmospheric neutrino anomaly at the same time. (orig.)
