Crystal structure of natural monoclinic catapleite Na2ZrSi3O9x2H2

Description
Monocrystals of natural catapleite are studied. Parameters of monoclinic side-centred nucleus are: a=23.917(2), b=20.148(2), c=7.432(1)A, Z=8. In the structure both independent Zr atoms are surrounded by O-neighbours in usual for it octahedron with distances Zr-O=2.065-2.078 A. Si atoms are localized in tetrahedrons with distances Si-O=1.584-16 A. The big cation Na is sitnated in a octaverte in which two vertices are occupied by molecules N2O(Na-H2O=2.275-2.368 and Na-O=2.535-2.712 A)
