XIIIth conference of Czechoslovak power specialists, Bratislava, 20-25 May 1987

The conclusions and recommendations are presented which were adopted by the participants in the 13th Conference of Czechoslovak Power Specialists held from May 20 to 22, 1987 in Bratislava (CS). The aim of the conference was to evaluate the present state and prospects of the fuel and power complex in Czechoslovakia and to discuss the questions of rationalizing power consumption. The sessions discussed: changes in the structure of the fuel and power complex by the advance of nuclear power; increasing economy of the technology of production and distribution of electric power and heat; the function of renewable and secondary power sources in the fuel and power complex; the reduction of energy demand in the national economy.
