Calculation of cascade-probabilistic function on personal computer with allowance for ion's energy losses

Description

Calculation of cascade-probabilistic function (CPF) with allowance for ion's energy losses is carried out. In the work the peculiarities, arising during of approximation expression selection for interaction cross section is studied. For calculation of the function in dependence from number of interacting charged particles and penetration depth of ions into substance the field of result definition is found. Dependence of interactions account time from different parameters (penetration depth, atomic number of flying in particles. initial energy of particle) is measured. Assessment of energy losses contribution to cascade-probabilistic model is carried out. Calculations of simples CPF (with and without taking into account energy losses) are conducted. Results of the calculation show, that simplest CPF one can use for light interacting particles and light targets only at small values of depth penetration and interaction number. For other case it is necessary use CPF with allowance for ion's energy losses
