Description
The theory of quantized fields in reformulated. All the essential results of ordinary quantum field theory are recovered. But it is seen also that the very sharpness of the reformulation brings into focus some awkward questions. The construction of the scheme is not at all unique. The Lorentz invariance plays a strange, perhaps incredible role. (K.A.)
