In his opening remarks, Dr. Hans Blix, Director General of the IAEA, welcomed the participants and stressed the importance of presentation of the benefits, problems and potential of the nuclear energy. He underlined the IAEA's attitude to public information as an intention to cultivate respectability, seeking to offer but not to sell reliable news and the variety of subjects on which we can assemble and analyze data
