Large-N baryons: Collective coordinates of the topological soliton in the SU(3) chiral model
Description
The collective coordinate method of Gervais and Sakita is used to quantise the large-N topological soliton in the SU(3) chiral model. The leading-order hamiltonian is that of a symmetrical top. The Wess-Zumino term plays a role in determining the flavour and spin quantum numbers of the baryon multiplets. (orig.)
