Description
It is proposed that NMR detection of absorbed water may be a feasible technique of detecting and locating impact damage in graphite-reinforced plastic (GRP) structures. Measurements performed to determine the extent of the attenuation by GRP of the NMR signal show a broad maximum in sensitivity as a function of frequency. 4 refs
