Explosive nucleosynthesis in zones rich in hydrogen and helium

Description

Explosive nucleosynthesis was studied for element with masses lower than that of 35Cl at temperatures between 108 to 109 K. It is shown that in some astrophysical objects (Novae, Supernovae or super-massive-stars) an explosive nucleosynthesis of isotopes such as 3He, 7Li, 25Mg or 29Si is possible. The existence of those elements in the interstellar medium would make possible, ultimately, the formation of heavier elements (iron peak and above)
