Description
Zones have been scanned at 2 μm around 22 Herbig-Haro objects. A number of infrared sources are found, some identified with stars that have been studied spectroscopically. Few, if any, are likely to be the exciting stars for the nebulae. Such stars are probably embedded within the dark clouds by more than 30 mag of visual extinction. (author)
