Description

The public authorities are mobilizing to make more efficient use of biomass resources for energy, with a view to decarbonizing the economy and creating value and jobs. France has a number of assets that enable it to position itself as a world leader in this field. Over and above the potential of the various sectors concerned, what are the technical, economic and societal obstacles to be overcome, the development conditions to be met, and the successful experiences? In order to compare the points of view of the various players in the sector, the ANCRE alliance, the Axelera and Tenerrdis competitiveness clusters organized a symposium on biomass energy chains. This document gathers the records of exchanges and the slides of the available presentations. It includes in particular a presentation of the results of the GP1A ANCRE study (CEA-IFPEN-INRA-Irstea) about the state of the sector, its development potential, industrial structure and organizational models
