Description

Embedded anchor plates have a wide range use in Nuclear Power Plants design. Anchor plates are steel elements embedded in concrete, made up of a plate and welded headed studs so to transfer the loads coming from steel structures, components and electromechanical systems to the concrete structure. This report presents american and german methods to determine the reduction to be considered upon the tensile strength set for a single study in order to obtain its strength in a group of study.
