Determination of UO2CO3 formation constant at temperature from 25 deg to 150 deg C
Description
The equilibrium constants of the reaction UO22++CO32-reversibleUO2CO3 have been determined from the data on equilibrium pH values and UO2CO3 solubility in aqueous solutions at temperatures from 25 to 150 deg C. The equation of the temperature dependence of the constants has been derived (lg K=-8.988+0.04053xT+621959.1/T2) making possible the calculation of the constants within the above temperature range with a mean arithmetic deviation from the experimental values +-0.02. The values of ΔG, ΔH, and ΔS have been calculated from temperature dependence of the equilibrium constants for the given reaction and temperature range
