Description
An alpha-scintillation radon counter and an analytical system is described, suitable for a large-scale study of 222Rn(radon) and 226Ra (radium) content of either air or other environmental samples. Good results are to be obtained applying this device to the determination of radon emanation- and exhalation-rates from building materials and the radon and radium content of water. (Auth.)
