Description

Aiming at simulating the dynamics of plasma consisting of multiple phases, a new immersed interface method (IIM) scheme to solve multiphase flows with viscosity and density jumps is being developed. A numerical technique to solve the equations of the jump conditions is developed. The validity of the formulations and the numerical technique is confirmed by a numerical test. (author)
