Creators

Description

For the transfer of a specific order of 26 tonnes of enriched uranium (as uranium dioxide powder) from the United Kingdom (BNFL) to Spain (ENUSA) IN 1985, and for future transfers of the same material, the UK Government proposed a set of conditions based on IAEA,s document INFCIRC/254. These cover the uses, physical protection, shipment safeguards and nontransferability of the enriched uranium. Spain agreed to the conditions. The notes setting out and accepting the detailed conditions which constituted an Agreement between the countries are re-printed. (U.K.)
