Explosive growth of the tearing mode in a planar layer of a destructed magnetic surface plasma
Creators
Description
The dispersion equation is derived for the drift-tearing mode in a plasma planar layer when the magnetic fields of excited modes are the reason of magnetic field line diffusion across the destructed magnetic surfaces. It is shown that the instability increment grows with increasing the magnetic field diffusion coefficient, what results in the explosive growth of the mode
