Description
This paper discusses the study of sensitization, various factors determining the absorption wavelength, oxidation-reduction potentials, excited state lifetime and mode of relaxation of ruthenium(II) complexes. The authors address the kinetics of electron transfer quenching of the excited Ru(II) complexes. Conclusions are the presented along with examples of utilizing photochemically produced ion radicals for energy up-conversion
