Potentialities of comprehensive diagnosis in involvement of the mediastinal lymph nodes in lymphomas

Description
The authors present the results of comprehensive roentgenotomography, computer-tomographic and radionuclide (with 67Ga citrate) diagnosis of involvement of the mediastinal lymph nodes in 39 patients with verified diagnosis of lymphoma. The sensitivity of roentgenotomographic method was found to be 39%, of scintigraphy 65.5%, of computer-aided tomography 98%. These data permit the authors recommend the said complex of methods for the diagnosis of mediastinal lymph node involvement in patients with lymphoproliferative diseases
