Micro-structures of an amorphous alloy (Cu57Hf43) detected by TDPAC measurements

Description
TDPAC spectra of 181Hf were measured for an amorphous alloy (Cu57Hf43) prepared by melt-spinning for the first time. It is obtained that two Hf sites exist in the amorphous alloy. The short-range order in the amorphous alloy is discussed from a viewpoint of the polytope model of amorphous solids. (orig.)
