Case report of gastro-renal venous shunt, demonstrated by computed tomography
Description
The patient (43 y.o.) had been hospitalized several times because of the recurrent disturbance of consciousness with high blood NH3 level. We could find and followed the abnormal huge vessel connecting between left-gastric vein and left-renal vein using CT-scan. CT diagnosis is very useful as the first examination for the portal-systemic collaterals. (author)
