Note on the contribution of resonances through pole-diagrams in chiral perturbation theory
Description
We include resonances in the effective chiral lagrangian of the ground state hadrons in order to examine pole-diagram contributions to the nonleptonic weak decays. We focus on the possibility that these effects may be anomalously large when there are near degeneracies in the mass spectrum, and we consider whether this is of relevance to the observed ΔI=1/2 enhancement.
