Rhenium(V) complexes of methylbenzimidazole

Description
Rhenium(V) complexes with N-methylbenzimidazole (L) of the composition [ReOL2X3], [ReOL2(OH)2X]·2H2O, [ReO(SCN)L2X2], [Re2O3L4(NH3)4]X2 and [Re2O3(SCN)2L4(NH3)2]X2, where X = Cl, Br, were synthesized. The compounds prepared were characterized by data of elementary and thermal analyses, IR spectroscopy and conductometry of solutions. It is shown that ligand L in the complexes studied is coordinated via nitrogen atom of imidazole ring. Under the action of ammonia rhenium(V) mononuclear complexes transform into binuclear ones
Abstract (Russian)
Синтезированы комплексы рения(V) с N-метилбензимидазолом (L) состава [ReOL2X3], [ReOL2(OH)2X]·2H2O, [ReO(SCN)L2X2], [Re2O3L4(NH3)4]2X и [Re2O3(SCN)2L4(NH3)2]X2, где X = Cl, Br. Полученные соединения охарактеризованы данными элементного и термического анализов, ИК-спектроскопии и кондуктометрии растворов. Показано, что лиганд L в изученных комплексах координирован через атом азота имидазольного кольца. Под действием аммиака моноядерные комплексы рения(V) превращаются в биядерныеAdditional details
