Compensator for angular response of ion chamber
Description
The paper describes a compensator for the angular response of an ionization chamber used in rockets for observations of solar lyman α intensity lines. The compensator is a mask composed of two sheets etched with an opaque triangular pattern, whose function is to keep the angular response constant and independent of the incident angle. (U.K.)
