Magnetic properties of Sm2Co17 magnets under 10 MeV electron beam

Description
The aim of this study was to investigate the performance of Sm2Co17-magnets under 10 MeV photon irradiation in the technological accelerator. It was shown that direct irradiation of the magnets by electron beam did not result in the reduction of magnetic flux. The absorbed dose was 16 Grad. A ten times increase in the radiation dose had no effect on the magnetic flux also. Magnetic properties of the samples located beyond the direct electron irradiation and underwent the bremsstrahlung irradiation left unchanged.
