Front-back and charge asymmetries of leptons from hadronic productions of W+- and Z0-bosons

Description
Using the QCD perturbation theory up to O(αsub(s)) and the standard Weinberg-Salam model we carry out numerical evaluation for the frontback asymmetry and the charge asymmetry of the leptons from the decay of the W+-- and Z0-bosons produced in the reactions pp, anti pp → W+- + anything → l+- + v sub(l) + anything and pp, anti pp → (γ, Z0) + anything → l+ + l- + anything. For the scale violating parton distribution we employ the Glueck-Owens-Reya parametrization. We show that these asymmetries are fairly large under certain kinematical conditions. (author)
