Monte Carlo study of lattice SU(2) gauge theory at finite temperature
Description
Numerical evidence for the phase transition betwen between the confinement phase and free Coulomb phase of SU(2) lattice gauge theory is presented. The authors have studied the behaviour of the theory at arbitrary coupling constant and temperature by means of Monte Carlo method and have found the critical value of the temperature separating the two phases. The large fluctuations suggest a second order phase transition at this temperature. (Auth.)
