Development of an improved methodology for the determination of the neutron load of the pressure vessel steel of WWER-1000 type reactors. Final report
Description
The investigations, reported on here, are aimed at the theoretical and experimental determination of the neutron exposure of the VVER-1000 reactors Balakovo-3 and Rovno-3. The overall approach, partially developed and at least improved in the frame of this project, comprises the pure calculation part, the gamma spectrometric analysis of neutron activation detectors and the comparison of experimental and theoretical results using the spectrum adjustment procedure. The approach is not restricted to neutron embrittlement but can be applied to neutron fluence problems in general. (orig./GL)

In diesem Projekt wurden fuer die WWER-1000 Reaktoren Balakovo-3 und Rovno-3 die Parameter der Neutronenbelastung experimentell und theoretisch bestimmt. Der vorliegende Bericht beschreibt das methodische Vorgehen, welches aus dem reinen Berechnungsteil, der gammaspektrometrischen Analyse der Ativierungsdetektoren und dem Vergleich der gemessenen und berechneten Werte einschliesslich der Spektrumsjustierung besteht. Dieses Instrumentarium, welches allgemein bei der Bestimmung der Neutronenfluenz anwendbar ist, wurde im Projektzeitraum weiter verbessert. (orig./GL)
