Description
Carbyne, (-C = C-)n, has attracted much attention as a new type of a carbon material for its unique triplebond linear structure. The material is recognized not only as a new carbon but also as a precursor for the preparation of new types of carbon materials. The authors arc studying the synthesis of the carbyne-like carbon and its transformation to other types of carbons.
