A method for improving the spatial resolution of multiwire proportional chambers

It has been shown that the spatial resolution of the MWPC can be improved by a factor of two by changing the angle between the beam particle direction and the MWPC planes so that the number of single wire events should be equal to the number of double cluster events, both kinds of the events being detected.
