Description

Combined energy and mass analysis of postionized sputtered neutrals is used to determine the energy spectra of Ni and W atoms ejected from a Ni 88% - W 12% alloy and from pure Ni and W targets by normally incident Ar+ ions of 2.5 keV. Informations are derived on the spectral flux densities of the atomic collision cascades within the solid, and on the surface binding energies of the alloy
