A summary study report on the advancing basic engineering in fiscal year of 2001
Description
The Japan Nuclear Cycle Development Institute (JNC) began a research cooperation system on advancing basic engineering since fiscal year of 1995, to intend to promote research cooperation with universities and institutes. This system aims to promote advancing fundamental and basic researches on R and D project planned by JNC under cooperation with universities and institutes mainly by using facilities and apparatuses of JNC. Here were summarized results on 45 items of cooperative research subjects carried out at fiscal year of 2001, which contained 22 items of fast breeder reactor engineering, 14 items of nuclear fuel cycle engineering, 2 items of radiation safety and 7 items of geological disposal and science. Among them, 19 items were finished at this fiscal year. (G.K.)
