Monitoring the radiation parameters of the irradiation channel of the RVS-3 loop during the H5/2 experiment in 1991

Description

The distribution of the neutron fluence rate and of the absorbed gamma dose rate along the height of the irradiated samples and the time behavior of the parameters were established by using self-powered rhodium detectors and tungsten calorimeters. The mean and integral values of the parameters and their time changes were evaluated. While the measurement with self-powered detectors was reliable, the quality of the calorimetric measurements was affected adversely by the improper function of some of the thermocouples. The data obtained during the experiment are plotted in diagrams. (M.D.). 15 figs., 13 tabs., 9 refs
