Ion acceleration during nonlinear stage of the Buneman instability

Description
It is shown that at nonlinear stage of the longwave Buneman instability the generation of quick ions with energy higher than applied potential difference, is possible. Their energy spectrum, that has a degree type dN/depsilon infinity epsilonsup(-3/2) within the low energies range and has a maximum in the vicinity of maximum energy, is calculated
