On the rotational modes of fully convective stars with application to close binary systems

The purely rotational toroidal modes for an n = 1.5 polytrope are calculated and the results applied to the problems of apsidal motion and circularization in close binary systems, with particular reference to the SU UMa subclass of the cataclysmic binary systems. (author)
