The agreement on scientific-technical cooperation covers among many other subject fields also cooperative activities for the peaceful use of nuclear energy. Interdepartmental activities and the relevant projects are listed. The agreement establishes a committee with members from both countries to act as a steering and coordinating body. (DG)

Abstract (German)

Die WTZ umfasst Fachvereinbarungen, die u.a. die Zusammenarbeit auf den Gebieten der friedlichen Nutzung der Kernenergie regeln. Fuer die Ressortabkommen sind Projektlisten wirksam. Als Steuerungs- und Koordinierungsinstrument sieht das WTZ-Abkommen eine gemischte Kommission vor. (DG)
